Philipstown Advocates for Trails

We (PAT) promotes the construction, upkeep and access of multi use trails and paths for community residents, both for their recreation and as a means of them getting around the neighborhood.

In April 2026 the boards of the Village of Cold Spring and Town of Philipstown decided to sue the State over the HHFT Final Generic Environmental Impact Assessment (DGEIS). At the Town of Philipstown Board meeting of October 1, 2026 Supervisor John Van Tassel (JVT) and Town Attorney Ephraim provided an update of the legal action (Fjord Trail Article 78) – watch 57:35 onwards.
